Upper Circuit

A strange call came from one of my friend........"Hey Lucky the Market halted today as it hit upper circuit."

Thats really surpurising for a market to hit the upper circuit in recession. Are we really in recession. ????

Well there does not seems to be any correct or I would say good answer. On person front I take the following factors..

1. P/E
2. EPS
3. Cash Flows
4. Prospects of the particular industry in which the company operates

The average P/E ration for last 15years for the Indian market is closer to 14.5. The same is true for Average global P/E across markets which is closer to 16.

But here is the catch. With this sudden sprut in Market from 8k to 14k. Valuation for equities does not seems to be fair enough.

FAced with dilema. Yesterday also I was inclined to talk to boss but then I though let me make all my claims clear. Atleast I should not repent later on that I lost so much of money which belonged to me all because of hasteness.

Well today is 16th and the UPA is marching ahead with 200 against 140 of the NDA. That means UPA certainly to form the government and HPCL is not going for bidders invitation for sale.

"HPCL (NOT)FOR SALE "

Ha Ha a very strange twist may arise if the UPA decides not to back up this (NOT).

Big games and big players, I just want to have my fare share out of HPCL before leavign in the form of my pending claims and others.

1. TES - Claims for the Bhatta change arrears and really a big amount.
2. Differnce of salary
3. Pay Revision Arears
4. LFA
5. Pending Profit Sharing and PLI (Performamnce linked incentive) claims.

and may be there are some other pending ones for which i may be in dark as of now.......

Hu.......lot of work and a lot at stake........

Indian Medical Facilities

DGM visit of Plant on last saturday prompted me to have a Rasmalai on saturday......Oops I did it again ( like misadventures of Britney) .....got Food Poisoning.

Got to the casualty of Sant Parmanand and doc gave me some odd sort of medicine....got vomit in the night.

Alas, had to go to Dr. Gupta in the morning .....really tense .......
